Outdoor Research Graphic Dry Sack

Outdoor Research 15 Liter Graphic Dry Sack

I recently received one of these 15 liter OR Graphic dry sacks to test for Backpackgeartest.org. This dry sack is of course waterproof, durable and light weight, but what makes this sack unique is that it is offered with a graphic design printed on the outside of the sack. Why, might you ask is this done? Is it for the fashionable backpackers? Well, I guess you could say that, but the real idea behind the graphic design is so that it will be easy to distinguish from the other dull-looking dry sacks which will make it easy to figure out where your stuff is packed.

These dry sacks are offered in sizes from 5 – 25 liters and about 8 different designs. The one I am testing is the 15 liter cloud design, which can be seen in the above picture. I will be doing a 3-part review on this bag, so I will be sure to post the link to the full review here on my site once I get the report started. Until then, I look forward to testing this dry sack out and hope it keeps my new down sleeping bag dry!

Cheers! 🙂

About Stick

My blog is essentially a record of my hiking career. Through it, I, and others, can see how I have evolved from a heavy weight backpacker, to a smarter, more efficient, lightweight backpacker. Through the use of video, still photos, and of course writing, one can see my progression, as well as check out some of the places I hike, and not to mention some cool, lightweight gear options. For me, my blog is a journal, but for others, I hope that it is an interactive learning tool to aid them in their own progression towards lightweight backpacking.
