The temperatures are finally at a point that I can test out my “winter gear” to the points that they are rated! Of course, this is in my backyard (actually front yard) so the results may be slightly more optimistic than if I were in the backcountry and had been hiking all day long, but at least I am able to test them and get a more realistic idea of how they will work for me. And now when I head to the Smokies next month, well I may just be able to be more successful and enjoy my trip that much more. Thanks for watching, and as usual, leave a comment…
