A Chance to Win Free MLD Gear!

Who doesn’t want free gear? Let alone from the UL cottage company known as Mountain Laurel Designs (MLD)? Well, if you do, tonight is the chance to do so! In just a few short hours Ron will be putting 2 items up on the MLD Facebook page, and all you have to do to win is to post, quickly…here are the details:

The event will feature two protoype items, a quilt and a pack.
I will post one and then a few minutes later, the second.

THEY ARE FREE.

RULES:
#1 You must respond to the post in a comment under that post. (Not in a new post.)
#2 Your Post must read ” MLD RULES” or “WANT IT” or “MAD DOGS”
#3 The 5th Poster under the first one wins the first one. The 10th Poster under the second one wins the second one. That makes is a bit of a race but adds some randomness.
#4 ONLY POST ONCE UNDER EACH ITEM!!!
#5 DO NOT DELETE ANY POST FOR ANY REASON!!!!

Hints: Refresh the FB page often starting at exactly 10:00pm EST – I mark time by my computer clock – Have your response ready as a cut-and-paste to save typing time. Post your ONE RESPONSE ONLY as fast as possible, it will go very very fast and waiting a second or two as a strategy is a risk…

ONLY POST ONCE UNDER EACH ITEM!!!
ONLY POST ONCE UNDER EACH ITEM!!!
ONLY POST ONCE UNDER EACH ITEM!!!

You may be tempted to post twice since your refresh may not be fast enough to show your first response quickly – BUT – if you show up more than once none of your posts will count for that one item.

There is a practice post there now to try out before the event.

ONLY POST ONCE UNDER EACH ITEM!!!

So, if you are a friend of MLD’s Facebook page, just head on over, if not sign up and become one for your chance to win some free gear. As well, on at least one other occasion he has sold items in this same manner, for hardly nothing at all. So, it is worth it to keep up with MLD on Facebook!

Good Luck!

About Stick

My blog is essentially a record of my hiking career. Through it, I, and others, can see how I have evolved from a heavy weight backpacker, to a smarter, more efficient, lightweight backpacker. Through the use of video, still photos, and of course writing, one can see my progression, as well as check out some of the places I hike, and not to mention some cool, lightweight gear options. For me, my blog is a journal, but for others, I hope that it is an interactive learning tool to aid them in their own progression towards lightweight backpacking.
