Patagonia Capilene 2 Crew

Patagonia Capilene 2 Crew

After purchasing my Capilene 1 T and loving it so much, I decided I would like a long sleeve light weight technical shirt as well. So, the second shirt I purchased into my backpacking career was the Patagonia Capilene 2 Crew.

I was impressed with this shirt. Upon initial impression, it is so thin that it would appear to not do anything but fall apart. However, it has held up extremely well over the past year, and has become my favorite base layer shirt. I like the sleeves because it keeps all the cobwebs off my arms when I am on the trail, and I can focus on the ground where the snakes are! (That actually happened once, I was very lucky he didn’t bite into me!)

Anyway, you can read my full report on the shirt here.
