Storage / Stuff Sacks

Storage / stuff sacks come in many different sizes, shapes, and made of different materials. Some feature waterproof zippers, some use small draw cords and cord-locks while others simply use an elastic drawstring. They can be used for all sorts of things: pillows, storing gear in, storing clothes in, lining backpacks and even for using as a bear bag. It all depends on what you want to use the bag for, but rest assured, whatever you need it for, there is a stuff sack or a storage bag out there that will fit your needs, and for the DIYer’s out there, they are easily made.

Hi, I came across your blog on storage and stuff sacks.

I am an avid hiker and a member of several hiking groups here in BC.
About a year ago I changed the method and designed a whole new way to compress my sleeping bag. Without thinking much about it, a friend from 40 Adventures hiking group thought I should improve the design and make it available to hikers.

I’ve received some feedback from local hikers but would like additional thoughts.

Here is a link to what it can do.

    Kind Regards,
